Šárka Sedláková, also known as Taxus, is a Czech author, psychotherapist and educator specialising in runes, Germanic spirituality, seidhr and Northern magical traditions.
She has studied and practised esotericism for more than thirty years and holds the rank of Master in the Rune-Gild. Her work combines historical research, practical experience and psychological insight. She contributes regularly to Femme Occulte and is the author of The 18 Spells of Hávamál, an illustrated card grimoire with a Czech–English companion booklet. Her first English-language book is forthcoming from Inner Traditions.
